Palmer (1975: 67) reported, “This spiraea is found in the forest, nkaxt. It is very good medicine for diarrhoea and for the stomach. Wash the roots and leaves and boil for a short time. Leave it aside to cool and then drink it. It tastes like weak tea.” [occurrence in area: assumed]
