The society hosted some exciting multicultural community projects and events every February for five years leading up to the 2010 Winter Olympics, including a celebration of Chinese New Year in Enderby for children of all ages plus a traditional New Year’s feast at the local Chinese restaurant. At Mimi’s Tea House we had a well attended free Korean lunch with Splatsin drummers and a friendship dance weaving around the restaurant tables!
We hosted a spectacular balloon release at the Visitor’s Centre with members from the Enderby Chamber of Commerce and the Splatsin Band Council.
