Adopt a Tree

A single tree produces 260 lbs. of oxygen per year and absorbs 48 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year

The BC Small Wetlands Association is planting 7,000 native trees as part of a reforestation project in the Shuswap and north Okanagan. You can be part of this initiative by adopting a one or two gallon trees overwintering in the park to take home or to be planted here at Pleasant Valley Wetland Heritage Park. Alternative tree pick up points in the Shuswap and north Okanagan will be available in 2022 .
Fill out the form below to select a tree. Clicking on “Select a species” will display a dropdown list of the types of trees available.
